Ugh. Vomit.

Tessa is about the same size 24.5 inches & about 75lbs, she'll be 1 yr Jan 5th--I had not realized they were so close in age.
Also didn't realize that 1 yr mark was coming up SO FAST.

Please keep posting about what you are doing for raw. I would really like to make the switch.

Yes, the year went fast.

So far, we are just doing chicken. She hasn't had any problems with it and I think she's finally getting enough food. With the kibble, she barely ate. She's been sleeping a lot more and I'm wondering if she's having a growth spurt.

We've given her raw beef bones her whole life and whenever I make meatballs, I give her one before I cook them. I'm hoping that will help when we start adding more protein sources.

Price wise, I don't think raw will be that much more than premium kibble. We bought whole chickens at Costco for $1.19 per lb. We also have 1/4 grass fed cow in our freezer. My friend just picked up her 1/8 pig and she's going to save all the weird stuff for me. Maybe next year, we'll get a pig too.

I might try to convince my cats to eat raw too. That should be fun. o_O
