Tuffy Toys

Max finally gutted his tuffy monkey after about four months so I decided to order him the elephant with this last food order. It lasted all of an hour... He loves his animals stuffies, any suggestions?

Ruger loves the stuffed and unstuffed animals but he has never been one to chew them so I don't know. He seems to prefer the unstuffed animals, though.

Really? Mufasa has the elephant since the first week I brought him home and it is just finally starting to show signs of wear and he is 9 months old. I have a bunch of tuffy toys because its the only thing he doesn't destroy. Maybe buy some of the non animal ones that are rated like a 9-10. Lets not forget that we buy the animal ones because it makes us happy, I truly dont think they give a damn what shape of animal its in so long as they can bite and chew it lol.

Arty kills EVERYTHING. Seriously. I bought one of those fire hose toys, he had it open and stuffing spread around the living room and the squeeker shredded in a matter of minutes. Its a little scary....I had one of the ring shaped Tuffys. I'll admit he had to work on it, but it wasn't long before the stuffing was spread everywhere.

The toughest toy we've found was a cheapo Walmart angry birds toy. I pulled out the stuffing because I didn't want it everywhere but the thing has lasted FOREVER.

we got the pig at Costco, can't remember if it was tuffy brand or not. It lasted a few months with just some dirt and shredded ears. The other night Denna finnally got the ear off - which made a little hole - which became a BIG hole in a few more minutes.
I'm thinking I'll get the sewing machine out and make her a plushy "blob" toy - then use big scraps of fabric to stuff it with - something she won't swallow, and would be easy to stuff back in. Maybe put knotts in the 'stuffing', too, for added fun. She loves the bee-hive toy with all the bees she can pluck out. The hive finally gave it's all last night - after 3 years and 3 dogs... we still have some bees around, somewhere...

Titan loves the stuffed animals I buy at WalMart and PetSmart. I bought him 2 halloween stuffed spiders and he still has them. He pulled one of the legs off yesterday and we play tug of war with them all the time. Pretty tough stuffies. I paid 1.99 for the ones at PetSmart and paid .25 for the ones at WalMart. In fact, my avatar pic is the one from Walmart which he's had for about 6 months.
