Time to say goodbye

A little over a week ago I had to say goodbye to the sweetest dog. He made it to 10 years 7 months when his legs stopped supporting him anymore. I never thought he would make it this long after his elbow dysplasia diagnosis at 15 months old and I was told by the surgeon that due to how bad his joints were already he likely wouldn't make it to his 5th birthday. I haven't been very active in this group for a few years but some people likely remember Kryten.

I am so, so sorry. I think your excellent care helped him thrive all those extra years. I lost Rhaegar last month at just 8yrs, and I just heard that Linda lost Hector and Tina lost Denna both in the past month as well. They leave such a huge hole in our lives and in our hearts. I personally don't know if I can do it again. My thoughts are with you. I loved seeing Kryten's photos all those years ago.
