Hell no. We're in a weird funk right now. The northern part of the country is getting snow & down here we're getting 38-43 degree lows in the past couple of days. Totally uncommon for this time of year. Our "normal" weather is quickly approaching I think as the temps for next week appear to be more Texas-like in the beginning of May. Then I'll be complaining about the heat & sweating just from checking the mail.

It was sunny and 90 degrees here all last week. Just dropped down in the 70's last night and today.....thank God. The 90's can go f themselves.

I agree when it's 100+. Tonight we're supposed to get down to 48. But next week is upper 70s to mid 80s. And rain thurs & fri.

WE've had highs of 70's for the last week. Its awesome. Except for the couple days where it almost hit 80, that was a bit much this early in the spring lol. Though I'll admit its better than snow on Mother's day, which has happened too.....

But setting up the various food and flower garden beds is almost done, so hopefully I can do everything else in short spans and avoid burning to much further *sigh*

I guess I'm also wondering how its possible to connect it more than 1 wrong way? I know nothing about cars but I am curious to know this! ;)

OK, so it's not that great of a story, so you'll all be dissapointed that nothing blew up. Wife's car wouldn't start two weeks ago so we drove and got another battery (her other one was super old). I put in the new battery connecting the right cable to the correct connection (I'm not that dumb) and her car started right up. Figured that was the problem.

Two weeks later once again her car wouldn't start. She had to carpool to work two days and we had to jump her car to take it to the mechanic as I figured at this point the alternator wasn't working properly and wasn't charging the battery. Turns out I didn't connect the battery tightly enough, even though I cranked down on the nutz pretty damn hard. So anyways, two days without a car, a jump and a $70 mechanic bill later I still don't know what I didn't do correctly when hooking up the battery.

Void I put a battery in my old car once & 11.5 months later it wasn't wanting to start. Turns out one of the cells was bad & I had 2 weeks before warranty ran out & I would've had to buy another instead of having it replaced for free
