I had the pleasure of driving up the mountain and meeting Mike and his pack yesterday.
I wanted to thank Mike for welcoming me to his home and introducing me to his pack.
What a bunch of well behaved, well mannered and beautiful dogs.
Jade is more beautiful in person than in her pictures, Odi is impressive and majestic, his color is stunning something that pictures just can't reproduce.
The puppies were, well what more needs to said but "PUPPY"
Khan and Crusher what a couple of fun loving awesome pups.
I'm sure you will miss Khan when he goes to his forever home, if my wife hadn't threatened
To cut my throat in my sleep I would have loaded him up and taken him home with me.
The old man Dozer, what an impressive dog he must have been in his youth, in his old age he still rules the roost, old dogs are just the best!
Thanks again Mike for a great visit, good luck on your job search.
Oh and thanks for teaching me how to pronounce Boerboel and I hope I helped you with Cane Corso lol :)

I envy you that visit! It must be nice to meet a fellow forum member. Mike makes lovely collars, and I hope all is well with him.

No pictures, I know what an idiot right!
I think I was too much in awe of the company I was in to go grab my cell phone.

I'm jealous. I'd love to have snuggled his beautiful pups. Ah, well, what's a six thousand mile trip just to get puppy kisses. I'd have been stopped at the border for stealing one. And then my husband would have slit my throat.

I guess I'll just have to appreciate from afar...sigh!

Oh snuggling baby dogs is so very good!
There should be a puppy snuggling service where you can for a modest price immerse yourself in puppy love ;)
I would be a frequent flyer!!

I know I broke a forum mandate, I should be banned!
But in my defense I don't know how much Mike would
Want me to share of his property and pack.

The thanks all go to you for the gifts. The pups are loving it so are Jade and Dozer but Odi is being picky about it. He will get over it. Unfortunatly Jade can't tolerate even a small amount of that kibble she just pukes it out but we are working around it. Thanks for all the compliments on my dogs I know if they understood such things they would be very proud to hear them.

Sorry I had to spend so much time with my neighbor but it really worked out into a boon for me as she hired me to clear out that house and we got together as I had so hoped would happen. But I also scored a new pettet griller and many other odd items during the horder house clean out.

Khan is sold but I have to choose between 3 families now. Unless something bad turns up from the upcoming vet visit. See new thread in Health related stuff.
And yes I am going to miss him either way it goes.

Just grilling pellets, the heating pellets have chemicals that will ruin your food.
Pellets can be tough to find but you can order them on line.

Actually recent standards have forced all pellet manufacturers to provide clean fuel. They all use food grade binding agents now. I think I just want to use the fuel pellets to break in the box though.

My favorites are cherry wood, Apple and mesquite but hickory is good with pork too.
