Could she be any cuter?!

It's been raining a lot and it's literally created a pond behind the barn. Thalia underestimated how deep it was LOLOL

She could but she'd have to gain a lot more weight and work on some jowls LOL. I'm sure that's just imo. We've been getting snow. I hate it, my mastiffs love it though.

I have always loved dogs and when I was a kid, my grandma bought me a book on caring for your dog (I had an Irish Wolfhound X at the time). It had a long list of dog breeds with pictures and rated them on trainability, good with kids, exercise needs, apartment living etc... I always circled the mastiffs as being my favourite breeds. My first mastiff love was the Bull Mastiff, but that changed when I saw Turner and Hooch and it quickly became the Dogue De Bordeaux. Now, my favourites are Boerboel, Fila and Dogo. Growing up though, my dad had Rottweilers, Staffords and Am Staffs. So, I was influenced by his choices when I bought my first dog that was all mine and not a family dog (Thalia). As much as I love the big dogs, I think I'll always have a little Staffy lunatic zipping around my house. She really is perfect... she is down for anything as long as she's doing it with me! Any sport, any type of work and she's like, "Lets go, mom!"

THIS GIRL! She is so awesome! I have to tell you, she has inspired me to get Yogi on a workout plan. Had a nice walk today, a good game of tug and worked on the yoga ball.

After watching Westminster, both my kiddo and boyfriend gave a big thumbs up to a staffy being on the top of the list for for our next dog. I immediately pulled up pics of Thalia to show them!

That's awesome! Thalia and I were out for about 4 hours this morning LOL. She is NUTS though. I have yet to meet a Staffy that can even come close to her. She really is in a league of her own as far as I am concerned. I looooove me some Staffy. I commented on the breed recommendation thread of just a couple things to keep in mind when getting a Staffy. ^_^

QY10, I have a Pit mix female that I just love. She is my first Bulldog. Like you said above, I will now always have one! One question, how did you get Thalia in that kind of shape?!!!! I play fetch, and throw a frisbee for my dog, but she doesn't look like Thalia!

Whoops! I asked how you got her in that shape, and then realized there were 3 previous pages showing how you did it! I am excited to get Steve (Yes, I named her Steve!) started in dock diving! I took her swimming in my sisters pool last year, and she loves it!

Monday through Friday we work for about an hour away right now cause there's just not enough daylight hours.

It's usually a combo of fetch on a hill, frisbee, spring pole and flirt pole.

On the weekends, we are usually outside for 4+ hours. That includes everything mentioned above plus hunting and weight pull/cart pulling. :)

We also do dock diving in the summer, rally year round, barn hunt, etc... I'm hoping to get her lure coursing this summer as well as involved in the local PSA club.

I love dock diving way more than I thought I would. I am so excited for the weather to warm up so we can get started on another season!
