I get my new one on my arm in about 2 weeks! It took me forever but I have finally decided who I'm getting it done by I believe anyway. My friend's working on drawing it up for me so I'll have an idea to show the guy. Puppies and tattoos what could be better than that!?

I tend to stay away from my chest area with everything so that would be out. They get enough attention without having something else there for people to want to look at. LOL.

HAHAHA agreed.

This will be fun. I have nine. I think. Let's see... gauntlet around my wrist full of physics symbolism, candy coloured blues, and truth. Skull and heart on my shoulder blade. Rob Jones artwork on my other forearm, surrounded by my eyeball tree. My son's name in binary on my inner bicep. Scriptwork on the side of my ribs. Swallow on my left foot, diamond on my right foot. And a 8bit 1-Up Mario mushroom. Here's my favorite one:

As for the piercings, I've only kept a handful. I still have my double nostril piercings, conch piercings, earlobes, and another random one. I've had my septum pierced twice (first time rejected, second time I just didn't like it anymore), lip, side corset, industrial, and another ear one that I can't remember the name. I'm currently working on a buffalo skull tattoo that will grace the side of my hip. So much fun.

I have seven. One on my foot, one on my ankle and inside wrist, 3 on my back and one on my hip. I'm probably not done yet! And years ago I had lipstick tattooed on, but it has faded.

I only have 2 for the moment. I have an outline of a horse's head on my upper back that I got about 3 years ago then I have some stars on my left wrist. I'm contemplating a third just don't know what to get & where to put it. I'm very partial to tattoos that don't have color. Not sure why I chose my 2 to not have any color I just did. :)

I personally don't find them attractive, but I think that you should be free to express youself as you choose. I'm curious as to how you choose what you have done?

rob, that's a good question to ask. I can't speak for all but I know 1 of mine has a very personal meaning to it & it's the one on my upper back. Throughout my entire life I've loved horses & was always extremely jealous of friends that had them or had parents that would pay whatever it was to let their kids take lessons, show, etc. I always wanted that. I wasn't very good at sports & I felt like my parents were afraid to let me ride in fear of me getting hurt. Now, they did borrow a horse from a buddy of their's one time, I couldn't ride her as she was crazy. I think they just wanted me to kind of see what it was like. I honestly can't remember much of that experience. I think a lot of girls go through a horse crazy phase in their lives & I had it bad. Hell I still have it. Finally my dad (my parents are divorced) said he would pay for lessons for me. I spent about 4-5 years taking lessons. Then my dad had some financial trouble & couldn't afford it so then my grandmother started paying for me to go. She was extremely supportive & was always there watching me. She grew up just as horse crazy as I was & decided to not hold me back on the only thing I ever wanted to do. I got extremely discouraged a couple times as their were 8 year old girls riding better than I was. I got down on myself & never allowed myself to actually "show". One year I decided I just really wanted my own horse & my grandmother helped make that dream come true for me. I had that horse for a little over a year. She was green broke & I worked with her every day for hours on end. My problem was I never really had a true connection with that horse, I just think she knew I was boss & wasn't going to try to test me. After 3 months of continuous training I could ride her anywhere. Then we had a summer that was nothing but rain every single day & I couldn't work with her. All that training basically went to waste & before I knew it I was putting her up for sale. It broke my heart watching her go, but I knew it was the right thing for both her & I.

This tattoo reminds me of the good days that I've spent with horses over the years. And even if I don't end up having that 1 special horse that I have that particular connection with, I at least have a daily reminder of the love for horses that I've had for all these years. Corny, but it means so much to me.

I have one, the phonetic Chinese characters for Morgan on the back of my neck. Someday I plan to get something similar to the following beneath it. (The kanji at the top is my current tatt.) TattSmall.jpg

The kanji inside the yin yang are the characters for light and shadow (yin and yang). The wolves are from a Cherokee story, in which a Cherokee grandfather is telling his grandson about the two wolves that live inside everyone, forever locked in battle between the wolf of kindness, honor, generosity (positivity) and anger, hate, cruelty (negativity). At the end of the story the little boy asks his grandfather, "Grandpa, which one wins?" And the grandfather says, "The one you feed."

I'm just planning on getting my first, I've always wanted one. But because i was in bands whenever I had extra money I had to use it to fix equipment or have records made or art drawn for the band....Took all my extra money.

But now NO bands. My friend who is an artist is drawing me a design that is a 3 headed corso(similar to the 3 headed elephant design from sak yant) with sak yant designs one both sides of the heads for my forearm.
Sak yant is a traditional style of tattooing from southeast asia. They believe the designs provide protection and are common with muay thai fighters. I've grown to love the designs over my time in muay thai and can't wait to have one myself. And adding the corso head in the sak yant style will be amazing!

if you're unfamiliar heres a pic of a sak yant tat with the three headed elephant.

I have two. A tramp Stamp that is all about the "third eye" theory and a piece on under my breast, over my stomach that is mine and my three boys Astrological signs joined together with black work with the symbol for "family" in the middle.

LOL. I have had a lot of sayings on them. One guy was so focused on them one time that he almost walked into me. I was so pissed about that one that I actually said, "You know, there's a person attached to them (with a few curses thrown in there)." I was in a hospital for a surgery my brother was having and I doubt that the tear streaked face said hit on me big boy.
