Summer conformation show handling wear?

So, I've got Apollo signed up for a show later this month, with the plan to hit at least a couple more over the summer. For the winter shows I wore a nice sweater and sharp black jeans (I have a pair a keep for dressy stuff cause I hate dress pants). Not as fancy as some (of course all the pro's are in their suits), but not as casual as others (I spotted at least one guy in worn blue-jeans and a tshirt.....).

What's appropriate summer show wear?

Course, with my luck its going to pour all summer, its certinally trying for that anyway, but still. I doubt any of my skirts are appropriate. Not cause they're short, I don't do short skirts, but because they're all long and extra full, and brightly colored, plus half of them are cut for wearing healed shoes, and THATS not happening in the show ring.....I suppose I could still do the black jeans, though I may see if I can find a plain skirt to use.

Are sleeveless tops fine as long as I'm not falling out or flashing anyway? And of course a light sweater cause I'm sure the indoor shows will be air-conditioned to the max (they sure heated the winter shows that way.....).

Im sure short sleeved or sleeveless tops are fine, anything is fine really as long as you are 'smart'. Black jeans and a nice blouse would be good. I wouldnt bother with long skirts, to easy to trip over or get caught up in. I have seen others wear mid length skirts (Mooshi's handler does) and they look nice too with a nice pair of flat shoes. I would go simple and comfortable.

Yah, thats why I don't think any of the skirts I have will work. Even the ones not cut for heels are only an inch or two above the ground. Not good when I can't use a hand to keep the skirt out of the way when I move. Oh I could shorten them, but I don't want to lol.

I think you should wear a Princess Leia outfit and dress Apollo like Chewbacca.

That would totally impress the judges. :p
