  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

Struggling to hold on for 2 more weeks!!!

If the other pups are immunized and they have not frequented a dog park in the last couple of weeks, I'd say go for it. Introduce away to the aunts and uncles.

Less than 48 hours now! I would feel so much better if I could email the breeder but her email is down and has been for almost a week. I can call her and will do so today. This weekend is when most of the puppies will be going to new homes so I know she is crazy busy. We will socialize with humans first, then after the 3rd set of shots, we will add the quiet dogs in the neighborhood. I am so excited, and stressed at the same time. the last time we had a puppy was over 8 years ago and we had 2(siblings)-that was crazy and very difficult to manage. So hopefully, this will be much "easier" as she will be the only one......sweet girl!

Looks like 4 more days to go!
Stay calm and carry on.
The wait is almost over and then the adventure begins.

My Vet said it would be OK to socialize with other pets you know and are sure about their health at this point.
I can't wait to see the pictures of the new pup.
I almost feel like I have been waiting with you lol

LLJ-So happy for you tomorrow!Let us know how the first night goes:) Kiss that smoochy face for all of us!. We will be seeing our baby Friday evening then returning to pick her up Saturday morning. I have a crate full of stuff-bought a new digital camera so I can post pics. I talked to the breeder today and she said the little girl is a "thinker" and the smallest in the litter. A teacup mastiff! I will say-I feel guilty getting excited for her. I miss Koloff so much. I haven't seen a BM in 4 months. That sucks. I just want to be a great mom, not expect her to be anything but herself. Getting a new puppy so soon after losing one is the only way I could move forward. I know we had to do it like this-not for everyone I know. You guys have been very supportive and I sure appreciate it. CR........puppy breath, puppy feet!!

I couldn't get any good pictures, but once he settles in, i'll try to get some. He's super laid back, the most relaxed puppy i've ever had.

Yeah, I don't know his name yet, my wife hasn't decided. She's down to George, Henry, or Wilbur. My GSD has been licking the pup, and watching him all day. I'm excited to see him grow. I'm going to do a weekly growth chart on him, that will be accompanied a picture of him in the same position so that I can have a visual summary of his weekly growth. I'll make sure I post in also.

This has been the longest 10 weeks of my life! Two more to go and we will drive the 12 hours to get our BM girl! It has been getting tougher and tougher. Our breeder will decide the puppy for us with our situation in mind-I appreciate that. We are down to 2 girls-one brindle and one fawn(down from 7 girls). Both now a bit over 8 weeks old. We will get her at 10 weeks old. I am a control freak by nature and this is so difficult for me. My hubby is much more laid back-thank God. He is fine with whatever-damn him! We have no other pets right now for the first time in my adult life and it really sucks. We have the crate up, toys out(actually we never put away the toys,or the beds, from Koloff who died in August. I am just losing my patience and I want to know what puppy is ours NOW as I want to bond at least through the computer. NOW, dammit. Maybe some BM breeders here can offer some guidance as to why it has taken so long-temperament testing at 7 weeks and confirmation last week. We are very happy with the breeder and we think she does a great job holding firm with taking the time to fit each puppy into a new home. I appreciate that and glad she does that. I just feel almost sick with desperation to know what little face to call my own. Sorry for the frustration, guys! We just are missing the center of our home right now.......

How are you holding up?
It is almost time we are awaiting the day!!

OK! We are finally home after a marathon driving 2 days-13 hours there, 15 hours back! Lil Brodie is cute as can be and did great in the crate/lap all the way. Cried for 15 min at first and then just here and there. We got home at 1130 pm and I stayed outside with her to potty for an hour, and to no ones surprise-nothing. Slept in her crate without a peep till 530-that is our consistant am time and she peeded x2 and pooped outside-yeah! She has not been trained to go outside-too cold so the newspaper is it. She will truly be a teacup mastiff probably not getting to 100#. She weighs 11 pounds at 10+ weeks old-she looks like Koloff did at 5 weeks. No issue with a smaller BM as we are not getting younger! Our house is prepped for a big puppy, not this tiny girl. Today I will learn to post a pic! I am still tired from the trip, lil Brodie is too-in her crate chillin'. Glad she likes it.
