Stopped eating from his bowl

My almost 9 month just said “not eating from my bowl or any other bowl no matter what’s it’s made of”
Anymore. If his food, “kibble” is put on a towel he will eat it all. This seems pretty strange to me. Any advice would be great. Thanks

No collar in house. Very strange behavior. I don’t get it??? Nothing changed and it started out of nowhere. Thanks for the compliment. Gotta say I love this guy.

Silly boy. We have two dogs here that don't eat from bowls. Not because they won't, but because they inhale food. I just feed them from the floor.

Ok so I see these pimple like things on the skin below his nose and by where the whiskers would be. The pimples must feel like a shock or just plain uncomfortable when he eats. I just purchased chlorhexidine wipes for dogs with wrinkles. Hoping these work. Still eats only on a towel or hand

Honestly? It may help, but don't be disappointed if it doesn't. Some dogs get really bad acne around that age, continuing while their hormones go wonky. My Ella had horrible acne no matter what I did until she was about 2 1/2 years old. Her acne was worse when she had raw bones, latex toys, and any toy that wasn't clean. It was also worse every time she came in season. I used cider vinegar washes, stainless bowls that I cleaned after every use, mal-a-ket wipes, stridex pads, etc. She continued to have flare ups every time she came in heat. I had her spayed at 4 years old and she's now acne free.

Thanks. I think you could be right about a hormonal issue. He’s a great dog and a lot of fun.

Zeela is finicky when it comes to eating out of a bowl, it has to been a certain kind and god forbid she hits it and it makes a noise. I think Cane Corso's in general are just a unique breed who do not do your typical dog things. Just feed from the towel or keep trying different bowls. I am sure if he gets hungry enough it won't matter what he eats from.
