Stacking 101

I have seen Black Jack in the ring on more than one occaision and he was far from all business. Wanting to sit, tail tucked, constantly looking everywhere for something.....not sure what. I hope the professional trainer did not get paid to train him to do that. Running around the ring like someone was chasing him. I do not know if this is what I would call "All Business". IMHO

Lol, wow Jolayne, interesting. Lol, is that why he has beaten Brinks EVERY time they have gone up against eachother? Do you see him while pulling Brinks from the show so he doesn't lose AGAIN or after :)
LMFAO so here you are to bash Black Jack. Funny coming from you... Really it is lol.
Jealousy breeds all kinds.

I have seen both these dogs competing against eachother, The pasterns on Brinks are horrid and if i were his handler would have been thoroughly embarrassed to take him in the ring. No wonder you pulled him after being beat the 1st 2 times then again in Calgary. Before you start judging other dogs, take a look at your own. Jolayne, you cant fix ugly so i would just give up now.

Wow such brutality, and scathing comments. Sure am glad I don't have a show dog, I might have had to carry a baseball bat.

I was pointed to this forum to see this hideous personal attack on top of this page. Left me speechless:(
I was going to answer this post but what’s the point? This post is speaking for itself and shows very well poster’s true colors. Sad. It tells me a lot about one’s personality when one feels the need out of the blue to bash the competition and to go on and add few ugly words about a trainer who she has never seen working with dogs (I have!).
All I want to say about this is that just as important is stacking, is one’s ability to loose with dignity! Lacking this ability is just plain poor sportsmanship. At the end...it’s just a dog show;)

Aside this ugliness on top of this page, I was looking around and found this forum to be very nice and interesting:) Thanks for letting me join!

Reading through this thread there was one subject what I would like to comment. I see nothing wrong with doing automatic sits in obedience. Our dogs are much smarter than that and they can easily tell the difference.
I have a dog who does conformation as a little side hobby. She has very solid automatic sits. I have never had a problem with it in conformation ring. Sit is a sit and stand is a stand – simple as that:)
