Some videos of Cianna training, mostly older ones

I did the Ivan Balabanov method with Cianna, playing " the game" with the tug, and the puppy food stuff. I only reward for fast, if she doesn't do it fast, she won't get rewarded.

I've looked up those DVDs OWC and the game-have you used both of these or did you do something else besides his DVD's?

What you are doing is also helping to build drive, along with marking her focus to be on you. The more in depth you go with IPO and all the working sports you learn about bringing a dog into & out of certain "drives".. certain one's accomplish different task more proficiently than others.

As always great work and videos, your girl is stellar.

Awesome! Actually, it was on the FB Working Cane Corso group that I got the most bad feedback from. One guy even said he thought my dog wanted to bite me, which is complete BS. It is a very light jiggle, NOT a correction, my trainer yelled at me the first couple of times for doing it too hard. Basically, you want to pair the jiggling with the food on your hand, so when you get to the point where you can start taking your hand away, the dog knows that the jiggling means keep your head up and hold that position. So when your hand is completely by your side, you keep the jiggling up for a bit until your sure your dog has it. Worked very well for Cianna
