Small child afraid of mastiff

Hello everyone,
Occasionally our family will go visit my Brother, and we enjoy his company. He has 3 dogs, a 215 pound English mastiff, 140 pound Rottweiler, as well as a 160 pound great Dane. We all love these dogs so much, but my four year old little girl is scared of his dogs, , They are all very kind and gentle animals, but for some reason if any of them stands up and walks towards her or start barking, my daughter will run and hide behind me and beg for me to pick her up.

Why is she so scared of these dogs? She loves dogs, we have a border collie at home and they get along just fine. I my uncle storeWhy is she so scared of these dogs? She loves dogs, we have a border collie at home and they get along just fine. I my Brothers dogs have done nothing wrong, even when I am right next to her, she wants me to be holding her in my arms near the dogs.

Any advice would be helpful. Can you explain to me why she gets so scared around his dogs?

Sorry for all the typos and repeating, dictation doesn’t work too well. 😀

A little kid can get intimidated by three big dogs in the same space. She's used to one dog in her space, not three, and three dogs that are BIG. I would have her interact with only one dog at a time until she feels comfortable.

I have tried that, she is still really scared of one dog, she is especially scared of the mastiff for some reason. I have tried lots of things and nothing seems to work. Why is she so scared of Ethan just one of the dogs?

I’m really confused because we have a border collie at home that she adores, she loves all dogs. Why does she act so scared? The dogs have done literally nothing to her.

No one in my family is scared, no one except my little girl.

Honestly, I’m new to parenting. Do you think my kiddo is doing this on purpose because she wants attention? I’m just not understanding why she’s acting this way?

If the kiddo is scared, she's scared. Put the dog on a leash and take it for a walk with the kiddo. When the dog is calm, see if the kiddo will give the dog a treat.
