Sliced pig feet ok for raw diet?

I bought some pig feet for Titan and didn't notice that it was sliced pig feet. They sliced the foot in half.

Do you think this ok for him to eat since it's sliced?

As in the hoof? or the leg above the hoof (never bought pigs feet)? There's some concern with commercially sliced bone that the saw could heat up the bone enough to cause issues in digesting, but I've fed my two commercially sliced pigs necks with no issues. Maybe feed one slice with the rest of his meal and watch him for a day before feeding the rest?

Thanks Ruth! The pig's feet are the foot with nails and all. It's manufactured by Rumba. I'm still debating on giving them to Titan. I tried last week and he just looked at it and walked away. I have to admit that they didn't smell too appetizing. I just bought them so they should be fresh...well, should be...

The nails are fine. It's the thing about machine cut that throws me. I'm never sure if it is okay or not. And with some cuts it is hard to tell if it has been machine cut. I know when the kids have turkey I will always find a small piece of bone on the floor that has a very sharp edge. If they can eat that I don't see why machine cut would be any worse.

Yea, it looks like they cut the foot right down the middle and there is a huge bone in the middle. I'm still debating the issue...with myself of course. :D
