Sleeping more?

So now that Brinks is 5 it seems like he is sleeping more. Since he's our first EM, I'm not sure -is this normal?
Maybe it's just that it's winter? He does exercise less due to the weather but he has his usual "spurts" of energy, eats as usual, seems otherwise healthy but sleeps HARD.

Interested to hear from others in the 5+ years.

Pippa's only 19 months and I have noticed this also. I do think it has to do with cold weather. I know I slow down this time of year. As the weather gets warmer, I plan to ease her back into her daily walks. Now it's only a couple times a week and they're short! But she sleeps a lot and she sleeps hard.

Denna's going on 5 in March, and she's been a hard napper for over a year now... some days I do worry about her... she's also starting to get a stiff leg, so after a hard nap, we have to get her up and walking to get things lubricated again.

Denna LOVES the cold weather, outside she's got all sorts of energy... the colder the better.
