Seraph Dogue deBordeaux & Riverbend Bordeaux

Hello,

These are the only two Dogue de Bordeaux breeders that I know of in my state. Has anyone gotten dogs from either of these places? I just want some feedback! Thanks!!

I have no personal experience with Riverbend but know someone who bought there. He had nothing but issues. First he didn't get his AKC paperwork till the pup was almost 1 year and when he did the dam was wrong. I would not recommend them. I also found other complaints on them when I did a search. Hello! I purchased a puppy from Riverbend in March 2011. great pup, but the breeder never sent me the papers that were promised. She doesn't reply to her emails, and I know their have been complaints with the Better Business Bureau. My suggestion would be to beware! I am currently in negotiations with Seraph Dogue deBordeaux...very professional, and I can give you an update after this weekend!

DO NOT buy from Riverbend Bordeaux!! We bought a female pup from her (Jodi) last April and just received papers sent to us for her last month after I literally HOUNDED her with emails and calls every two weeks or so. Just excuse after excuse. We drove over 10 hours to get to her place, and we were shocked when we got there to see the place where these dogs were living as opposed to how nice their website and pups on there looked. Dont get me wrong we love our dog, but she has all kinds of skin and eye problems, not sure if that's from breeding but just the keeping the papers from us this long is reason enough. If you google riverbend bordeaux there is a bbb (better business bureau) report of them where they receive an F rating and have a few different bad reveiws (Which I'll be adding to soon) but I didnt see all of that until after I bought from them, otherwise I wouldnt have. Just a total nightmare the whole thing. Really would reccomend not buying from them!

i sold them 2 beefy t pups shortly after his death , his last litter , a male and a female ....... never got paid , never gave them the registrations ......... not sure their pedigrees mean much anyways .......although they did send me a batch of dead semen and to their credit they made good on it with good semen 6 months later ........

I am in search of a good Dogue de Bordeaux breeder and have been thinking about going with Seraph Dogue de Bordeaux. Does anyone know anything about this breeder?
