BEWARE -
If you're in the USA be aware SABT paperwork is not accepted by AKC without approval from the American Boerboel Club first.
If you purchase a Boerboel from South Africa, ask to see BI, KUSA or EBBASA papers first or you risk not being able to register your dog here in the USA.
The SABT is NOT recognized as being a reliable organization (sick dogs and false paperwork have been documented coming to the USA from SABT) and all dogs and paperwork from them are considered suspect. There is no recourse if you're scammed, so BUY ELSEWHERE, or at least make sure the breeder gets papers from BI, KUSA or EBBASA instead of SABT. SABT papers aren't worth 2 cents here in the USA and good breeders in S Africa will provide you with BI, KUSA or EBBASA papers.
Note: Papers from "SA StudBook" (which is a private company making profits from your registrations, not a Govt organization) are not accepted in the USA either unless first approved by the ABC.
