Question on shyness

Hello just posted my main problem in training forum but alos wondering this is my first boerboel I have owned a bullmastiff and a english mastiff are boerboels more shy and protective over owner then the other breeds because I noticed that my bullmastiff and english were more acceptable to strangers like them petting them and playing with them but all could be just do to him being a pandemic dog so didn't get socialized enough

Hello and welcome to the forum. My boerboels were great with people but had much socialization. Being pandemic and all that its different matter. Here are people who know much more about dog behaviour so they will be of more help. Any other boerboel questions you are free to ask and pics are a must.
