I was just thinking so many folks have asked about different sports that dogs do, So I was curious how many on here actually do competitions with there dogs?

Agility?

Obedience?

Rally?

Weight Pulling?

Showing?

Protections?

Noise work?

Tracking?

Please add another sport if it has titles to get. :D

So I'll start

My dogs present and past have done

Agility - 1 dog
Obedience - 22 dogs
Rally - 3 dogs
weight pull 11 dogs
protection - 11 dogs
tracking - 3 dogs

Cant wait to hear all that actually work there dogs ... Thanks for participating

Oh and with dock diving, we have 3 legs toward are junior title, one leg being a first place with a 14/10 jump. We have one Senior leg, and two novice national legs. Hope to title this year in Dock diving! And obedience, the IPO 1, next spring!

Kristin, I think thats awesome.. I forgot about Dock Diving. I think bc we dont have it here in NM to dry haha!

I know with Conan I want to finish his Obedience title in UKC so he will be the FIRST Presa in UKC history to have received the SUPER DOG TITLE ... He so deserves it, he has done so much for me.

With Xade I would like to finish her PSA PDC & PSA1 then go for her Brevet in Mondio & maybe French Ring.

With Anabis well after that training I did a couple of weeks ago the Mondio decoy and one of the ladies that always does Mondio with her Malinois .. said he was defiantly a candidate for being a Mondio Presa .. he would be the 3rd or 4th depending if I get with his mom a Brevet but No Presa's have a MONDIO 1 .. soooo

Then I have my mali :D completely different subject haha

Thanks for sharing girl

We show both dogs CKC. Hopefully we will be doing our CKC AGN with Black Jack late this summer/early fall. Plan is to do our Rally Novice with Aurora this summer, and she is a working therapy dog. Not that that is a sport, but it is work ;) Is getting harder to juggle dogs and sports, Mon- AG, Tues- Handling, Wed- Therapy, then going to the shows lol. All that is fine and I love it, but it seems I have to do my 8 year old son's sports as well ;) Oh and work. Gets busy fast!

Cody, I so know how you feel. I don't work but I go to school full time and have been very sick for a while. I still manage to pull off a 4.0 with 18 credit hours, teach 4H dogs and shooting sports, work my dogs, train troubled dogs in our community, take care of two kids, and much more. It gets exhausting.

Fawn will be showing in confirmation and obedience and once school is done be therapy trained. Hulk will do the same but might add in agility. Now Artie will be shown in junior showmanship, confirmation for a bit, obedience, agility, and then be trained as a therapy dog. :)

I don't do sports with ours, no time & they're pretty lazy. :) But there's also treiball, skijoring, & free style.

That was one of my sons, El Mesquital Nimoy's Spock, who lives in Nova Scotia. He's quite the young man.

Hey - Spock is my baby ;-) He got his Retrieval Proficiency Test with the Canadian Disc Dog Association (CDDA) last May when he was 4 months and 3 days old. He entered his first competition with the CDDA this past April, entering in 2 categories - Single Disc and Freestyle. He placed first in both and his Single Disc round was perfect (meaning he didn't miss a disc). I also got another Corso (el mesquital Kano) a retrieval proficiency test with the CDDA in Nov 2011 and he was the first corso to get this title. Spock has also done some herding, lure coursing and we have done some training in Agility and Flyball.
