Puppy- How much should i feed my boy

Hi everyone
First time on the site and I wanted to ask people how much I should be feeding my boy boy Hendrix who's 8 month old , his dad is an English mastiff and his mum is a mix mastiff , at the moment I'm feeding him mix of 200g wet and 200g dry three times a day plus plenty of water and a few treats . He seems so be growing well I just want to compare

Welcome! I always start with the recommendation on the bag and go from there. Body condition is what you want to look at rather than the number on the scale. Slow and easy growth is what you want.

Yes check what your food suggests, then go by what your dog looks like, i keep mine slender, there will be times they eat a little more, nothing worse than being overweight for them,

Sounds like a beautiful big boy…. Can you post a picture of Hendrix? We all love puppy pictures young, old and in between!

What a handsome boy! Thank you for posting this picture. Front this picture it’s hard to tell really…. But he does look good for weight…. That being said, when my EM Bella was a pup I fed her on demand and she would eat about 4% of her body weight…I feed my pups raw. So what is the guide on the food your feeding him suggest?

Just like humans, feed more after an active day, and make sure there's rest time after activity.
Check the muscles, more protein if the muscles look small. Check for body fat, less calories and more exercise if the fat starts to build up. Don't forget (safe) bones and properly made veggies (steamed - no lectin)
