Puppy activity requirements

I’d like to know for how long I can walk my 5 month puppy or how long she can run during our walks
When they are very young i do roughly 5 mins for each month, so roughly 30 mins at a time, it also depends on the individual pup, some pups are a lot more active and need a little more.

Thanks for answer me back. My pup is very active, she enjoy training multiple times during the day, she enjoy walk on leash and running free in the fields. Usually I do 40 minutes leash walk in the morning and 40 minutes off leash walk in the evening (after that she’s a good dog). She get bone supplement.

Id say thats spot on, you will probaby notice on growth spirts she will slow a little, i ease off a bit then. Our latest pup runs on duracell batteries hes non stop. Enjoy, they sure do grow quick.

One 20/30 minute walk a day until theyre fully grown is easily enough with the odd longer walk here and there. I wouldnt suggest walking an active bullmastiff more because if they are large it will still wreak havic on their joints in the long run and theyll pick up all sorts of limps and sprains in the short term because they grow so fast, this id a generalisation ofc because each dog is different. But one walk and obedience training throughout the day is more than enough exercise/stimulation.
