I am a first time Presa owner. Riddick is now a bit over 10 months/125 lbs and I couldn't be happier. He came from Cabeza Grande Kennels. Yes, he is a bit "anxious" around other dominant male adult dogs but he's great with children and small dogs. I'd definitely recommend an owner who's gona stay on top of their Presa to kep him/her grounded. The neighbor to our left owns a 2 year old Neo and next to them they own a 4 year old Rott and a 3 year old bluenosed pit. Riddick has gotten into a few tussles with the Neo and the Pit. The Pit charged him in our own front yard and the Neo just wasn't in the mood for Riddick's playfulness. As far as people ago he's great but does get a bit on-guard at night for some reason. I've added new pics and a few vids on his thread.

I LOVE Riddick - he's just gorgeous boy!

I've been toying with having a Presa in the future, but I'm just not sure. I love DDBs so much that I can't imaging not having one....

Hey Everyone I am a new member and I have a Presa "Atillah" he is 13 weeks and its my first one so I only have puppy behavior charecteristics to discuss. Thus far he has been great with small dogs, my girlfriend has a couple chihuahuas. But around larger dogs he goes into a stance, ears perk up etc, but I limit those interactions. As far as people goes he is very cautious on night walks, almost obsessively. If we are walking and are about to walk past someone he will always walk in between me and that person. He is fair with children, not bad but not great. Plays constantly and bites alot... Play biting, but when kids are around it could be a problem if you dont watch his every move. He is very loving, and extremely loyal aka he wont let me out of my sight if he can help it. And that just about sums it up for the first 5-6 weeks. They are not a breed for a novice and require an owner as steadfast and stubborn as them. In my opinion they are a fantastic breed that requires patience and diligence and you get what you put in.
