Potty Training

My male Bullmastiff was by far the toughest dog to house break that I ever had. You've got to watch carefully for every signal that they give that it's about to happen again. What is the breed?

My 12 week old was potty trained in 5 days. 5 sleepless night to add to it. I just knew by his body language he needed to go, and would immediately walk him to the yard. He was going every other hour, thus the sleepless nights. A small treat and praises to follow every time he went outside.
After the 5 days I left the door wide open at nights, so he could go on his own after he learned what to do. He had problems using the doggy door. About a month later he learned the doggy door, and all has been fine since.
For me it was close observation of the puppy at all time, that worked well.
Never punish or yell at a puppy. It'll create much more problems, some will last life long.
