yeah, I think Riddick has the athleticism and IQ to be a great candidate for the types of training you do with yours..........pretty awesome what you do! it's people like you that bring positive attention to this breed despite all the negative sterotyping we hear from the media......thank you!!!

wow. I wanted a presa when i first saw one. But I was told they were naturally aggressive. After i heard that I just crossed them off my list. But i have never actually spoken to a presa owner! i am finding out that talking to multiple owners are the best way to truly learn about some breeds. They are such beautiful dogs. that willingness to please is just awesome!

When you look up pics of Presas on the internet they always seem to show the shorter stockier build. I love how lean and athletic your dogs look.

Unfortunately, that can be a good way and a bad way to find out about a breed. Some are gonna tell ya they are aggressive, cant be with other dogs etc. I see these breeders a lot. But the ones that truly are in it for the breed are going to tell you they are good guardians, family oriented, love kids, and nice working dogs.
But I can tell you I have had the breed for 13 yrs now, I have had many different breeds in the mastiff group, terrier group and the working dog group and I would NEVER again change breeds. I have now Malinois & a PRT but those dogs b/c I love the breeds and they are great working dogs. But if I had to make a choice YOU COULD NEVER TAKE A PRESA AWAY FROM ME AND MY HEART.

Thank you for the happy birthday....

Well you know about the Dogo Canario vs the Presa Canario.... Well just like the Pit Bull, history is repeating itself.
APBT = UKC / ADBA and AST = AKC
So how we have
DC = FCI and PC = UKC

So many folks are breeding the dogs to be shorter or so huge they are out of standards, bigger bone, huge heads etc

If you go back into history and pull up photos of them from the Islands you see dogs more like mine. So Thank you for your awesome compliment

Here is a few photos from history!

Thank you for the information on Presas, I didn't know any of that, but I see similar things happening with other breeds. I find with many (not all) when they get too big, they are not built to do what they were intended. Keep up the great work with your beautiful pack!
