Petsafe wireless fence

Yea I bet money Kona would run right through it. My thinking is if it's just inside the fence, it will keep her from banging on the fence to get whats on the other side. The fence would keep her in, the shock would just keep her off that

ahahahahahahaha. Thats the idea. We have some older folks next to us. So I'm gonna do what I can to hide them from her via landscaping. Then I'm adding a fence inside the fence thats there then I want the electric fence. The landscape alone should keep her from hitting anything with any speed. So now th goals to keep her from annoying them by standing up on it barking. The other side of us I aint worried about. You cant even see his house, and there is natural landscaping the whole property line over there. There is natural landscaping for most of the side with the older folks. Thank God for that cause landscaping in excess of 6ft would cost WAY more than fence. Just the 4 plant I got here to put in would be over 1500 to buy.

The crap you do when you have a Fila

my em duke he stays right at the edge of where the wireless fence ends and he will bark at whatevergoes by but he will not or has not yet to cross it ...i loved how easy the system was to set up nothing to bury or anything ...you just tuen it on and it emits a radio signal and you can adjust it up to 90 ft or less ..i have 2 unit and it covers my entire 1 acre that is fenced in ..my winnie dog that i have is a hunter and he hasnt crossed it yet either and he got out of the fence for 8 years ...so im impressed with him obeying it ...his collar isnt even on the highest setting either...there is five correction levels

I am now thinking about getting one for our cabin in northern MN. All we use right now are the bark collars which I can beep by remote when they wander over to our neighbors, but that's it. How do you know how far out you have the the circumference set? Can they go in the water with the collars too?

I have a dog that is a digger, and I couldn't keep him inside our chain link fence. We bought the underground fence and it worked for about a week. Echo learned that he could wear the battery down by laying close enough to beep, but not shock, and then when the beeping stopped, he was able to dig out. We had to invest in a wire shock fence, one that when he touched it he got shocked. The only thing that I have found that works for him. But he is also a runner, once he is out you can't catch him for hours. ( have I mentioned that he is the spawn of Satan?) my other dogs are obedient.

Worked great for our 11 month old corso/fila pup! We have the above ground wireless, but I never let her out there with it if I am not outside with her.

Love them!

I live on a medium traffic road and there is wildlife. The yard is fully fenced with plants over much of the fencing. The only visual gap in the perimeter is the gate, and I'm fine with him having full visuals of that as it's not in direct sight of his chill space, so he doesn't obsess about movement unless it's very close to the gate

The wireless fence means he's never been comfortable getting to know the perimeter well enough to test for weak spots, or to dig out

I wouldn't be comfortable using the collar without a fully fenced and screened yard though
