So there is a new organization for Non Competitive Obedience Titles. You send in your obedience videos in real world settings, rather than in a competition venue.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this! I love working with my dogs, I do not love competing. Yogi is a bit "environmentally sensitive" and gets quite stressed waiting in a kennel and gets distracted in a competition environment. Plus, with kids and multiple dogs, I find if difficult to travel to different venues, etc. etc. Also I have a touch of anxiety and have a hard time focusing myself. Be we can do THIS!

For anyone who works really hard on obedience with your fearful/anxious/reactive dogs who aren't suited to the competition environment, you can earn those titles you deserve! I am so excited about this, lol. I work really hard with my dogs, and I feel like this is the real world aspect of obedience that I work for, rather than the contrived (not meant as an insult) world of competition obedience.

Anyway, here is the link: Non Competitive Obedience Association

This is so amazing! I'm so glad you posted about this. Rhaegar will never perform or be happy in an actual high stress competition setting (and I'll be honest, neither will I), but this we can do! First we've got to get our parkour title first. :) Looking forward to seeing some of your videos!
