Ugh. This is just another reminder of my laziness. I haven't done hardly anything lately. Been thinking about it a lot bc I feel like a heifer right now. Trying to find a decent priced personal trainer to work with me for 2-3 months is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

Weight loss has been rocky but damn I'm determined. I finally lost some poundage and broke into the 150s

Congratulations DD. That is wonderful. I have been remiss. Started taking Kung Fu and I need to commit to the gym more. Eating wise, I have been doing well with that but I need the activity to get the weight off.

The stress of the last couple months has actually made me gain weight. Not a lot but enough that my jeans are getting uncomfortable. I decided yesterday that enough was enough and started a new workout routine this morning. Now my entire body aches.

Your not the only one like I said it took me a while. I can't afford a personal trainer for the reasons you stated lol. Walking is always cheap and free :)

Thanks Northern, I'm a bit more reavenous so I suspect that won't last long but I'm getting ready to work the dogs. Hopefully out there sweating does something. If not laxatives........XD

Kung Fu? Like in person? Please tell me more? I need to take some self defense classes.

Smokey I"m sorry to hear that. Stress has given me insane insomnia in the past six months now....so I hear you on that. Congrats on you though for taking that big step! Coming to realization was the hardest for me too. I look at is as I can't afford new clothes and if I do I want them in a different direction

What are you doing? Insanity? Brazilian Butt Lift? P90x? Zumba?

Well I contacted another PT. I have tried to get in touch with 3 different PTs before this one & haven't heard anything back. The one I reached out to yesterday is a friend of a friend. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I hear something.

Good luck Raechie.

DD, yes Kung Fu. Actually it is Kung Fu, Kickboxing, Jujiztu, Karate and Tai Chi. My kids have taken it for 4 years and they finally convinced me to take the adult class with them. Holy crap, he can really beat the crap out of me in a work out. The school is only run by the owner and his 35 year old son. His son was the Canadian Kickboxing champion several times and his other son was as well but he doesn't teach usually. The owner is from China and learned Kung Fu from his father, who learned it from his grandfather and so on. Long tradition of Kung Fu in his family. It is full contact, even the kids kung fu so you really learn how to defend yourself if you need to.

Now that sounds like "authentic" kung fu. I'd bruise like a tomato LOL!

Intense and the shorter the workout the harder it is.

I'll have to try that someday.
