Thanks guys for all the positive feedback, I really appreciate it. Hi mountainfila, i live in surrey, it's nice to see that someone other than myself owns them as well around here. They are so rare that I haven't found a single person that knows what a fila is or seen one. That might just be a blessing in disguise :) yes this is my first fila and he's from the states. The dam is from Granada and the sure is from lionsden. Finding a breeder down here proved to be quiet a challenge, but I did come across one a couple of days ago. I think her female come from do guardian bloodline.

Now about people talking smack about black fila, I don't believe in that if the dog looks like a fila with proper angulation and the correct temperament yet your criticizing it solely based on the colour in my OPINION that's absurd.

Lol surrey's national dog is the pit bull terrier. All these wannabe tough guys hanging out at the park with their pitbulls lol now fila is totally different breed, very complicated temperament wise. One of the best dogs to own if you have the time and the dedication and that's why I have one:)

I know Kelly he is quiet the little monster, I'm looking forward to how he develops!

I do enjoy the tough guys with pits. Or any other dog they think is bad ass and simply aint made for the job they think it will do. I new a dude with this short and wide pit. Trained in german comands. He kept a big chain on the dogs neck to make him muscled and the dog was ripped. Had muscles in places I did not know a dog should. Fact is though, he did not have much more than a well trained ankle biter that would not hold up to real human problem. But was hell on any small animals it seen. And hell on the guys arm holding him when he seen said animal
