My family and I just purchased a new pup. He is at the breeder since he is 7 weeks old. He currently weighs 9 lbs. does this sound okay? I read that males are 100-120 lbs at maturity.

Welcome to the board from another corso owner. His weight will vary a lot on some variables, where he ranks in the litter (the meanies eat more and first lol!) and what his lines are like. I suspect once you get him home and he is one his own he will pick up quick and you won't remember when you worried that he might not be big enough.

Hello !!!
My puppy at 7 weeks was more or less 12 pounds, but when i first got him he was so small and skinny...the other members of the forum told me not to worry about that very much and that he would catch up...well, they were. Right...so don't worry, i am sure he will grow very quickly as soon as you bring him home

Is that your son holding him?
Personally I do not recommend that being allowed. How he is being held can put stress on growing joints and can cause long term issues. Also if he starts wiggling he could fall. It is not a safe way to hold/carry a pup. Also letting your kids know right off the bat that he is NOT a toy will be safer for everyone in the long run.

ICCF was the most legit registry for the CC, in America, prior to AKC acceptance.
With your ICCF papers you can get AKC until the stud book closes in 2015, then only the CC that are registered AKC will be able to register. if you contact them I am sure they will tell you how. Every conversation I have had with ppl at the AKC, they have been great and very helpful :)
I feed grain free Acana, and now have been mixing with Natures Domain salmon and sweet potato, all life stages.
My dogs have been doing fantastic on both. We started mixing cause a 30 lb bag lasts less then a week with my 3dogs, and at 80$ a bag it gets pricey quick. We also do raw chicken backs and necks once a week to keep their teeth clean.
