Need Some Help From BM Owners, Please

Hello BM owners. I have a quick question. I have to write a review for a book about a BM used for dog fighting. (Trust me, you don't want to read it.)

In this book, the dog in the story is a BM that weighs 180 pounds. My question is, do BMs grow to be that big? I know it's common for Ems, but not BMs, right?

Jake was 165 at one point, but he was slightly overweight, we have gotten him down to 155 now which is much healthier for him.

Here's my boys dad at 18mo 165lbs, so I don't think 180 is unheard of.

It's definitely an extreme weight, even for an intact male. They're usually around 140 -150.

I seen a intact male at the Vet who was there for a breeding that was 220lbs! He was too large for the female and she had to be AI.
Was he in good shape? nope. Over fed and under exercised and he looked like a barrel with legs, not a shining example for the breed, just a big fat dog.
After seeing the youtube video of "Hulk" which is a 175 lbs pit bull and watching what he was feed, it would not be a problem to pump up a bullmastiff to reach 180lbs and still have good muscle mass and not be obese.
