I looked real close at that knucklehead one but in the end decided it didnt fit really. I know I should have waited but in all honesty I have disposable income and like disposing it on Mufasa :D

Disposable Income must be nice lol... im just gonna order big. Max doesnt pull or try to get out of his collar anyway.

Holy crap I love that collar!!! Here's the thing though...he's going to grow out of that sucker FAST! LOL. Oh well, it looks bad-ass and you can keep it as a memento of his puppy-hood. :D I REALLY want an awesome collar for my boy too, but holding off for a bit. I already got him a nice dual layer leather Ray Allen collar 28", and he's already in the middle ~26" of this collar and I think he will outgrow it pretty soon as well. NICE CHOICE!! Make sure you post some pics of it on him!!

Question: If it takes 9-10 weeks to complete...how did you estimate the size your pup will need?

...just looked at the Oli Collars site..man glad I looked in this thread!!

Honestly I just told him that his current neck size is 27 and that he is an 8 month old OEM and he said that he will make sure he takes into account growth and will make it bigger and also make the smallest size on the collar the estimated size of his neck when I get it. That way it should fit for as long as possible. Honestly when he out grows it at least it will give me a justifiable reason to get another kind lol. Some of his stuff I REALLY like and some of it I REALLY don't, kind of picky like that I guess but hopefully but the time I have to replace it I have found something else I really like.

Well it sounds like it should fit for sometime....which is cool for the money those cost. I've been looking and its between the The Antiquus, Antiquity, Battle or Copper studded. I'll try to hold off for 1 month until his neck is a little larger....that way he can use it for as long as possible. Currently he's is around 26" in the neck. Can't wait to see yours on your pup. I'll post here when I order mine. Going to be hard to wait. LOL :D

Ya that was kind of my problem. I started by saying "ill wait till he's 18 months then every week I seemed to convince myself to move it a month earlier. Finally I said screw it, no point in holding off, it will be cool while it lasts then if I need to get a new one so be it. Im not like some people either where I need to keep everything and it all has sentimental value. When he is done with his collar, if someone else wants it ill sell it, doesn't do any good sitting in my closet in a box. I have a friend with an american bulldog who could very well use this later down the road.

That collar is amazing. Very fitting for him considering that he was pushing your matress off your box spring lol

Ah disposable income. I used to have that. Then I decided to feed my two large dogs raw. On a single income. Oh well.

Ya know, if Superman was making that collar, it would have been made and sent already. Remember he can turn back time!

Lol true enough but I will just have to wait for him instead. I actually talked to him a couple days ago and added on a matching leash and short lead as well so they all match.

I love these collars! I've really wanted the 'karma one' for my boys but given how much I'm spending on Gummy's food right now, I've been holding off on purchases this big. Looking forward to photos as well. I try to only buy ethically made products for the dogs and for I. Gummy's current collar was handmade by a company in Minneapolis. It's rather plain but given he's about to grow out of it, I'm glad for only spend around 40 American dollars for it.
