Let’s go to the beach, each... Let’s go get away!

Little Tony Monster had his first trip to the beach today! The nearest beach with white sand is 1.5 hours away. It has poured the last few weeks. Today we finally had some decent weather, so Tony and I loaded up the car and headed for a drive!



He LOVED the sand... not as fond of the water. He dug, nosed, chased and anything else possible in the sand!

I can't get over how big he has gotten! And everywhere we go, people are always commenting on how cute he is. His blocky head is a show stopper around here! (Maybe I am biased... but I do agree that he is pretty cute!)

Get used to it... we cannot enjoy ourselves at festivals because of all the people & kids stopping to pet the dogs. Something about a well behaved large dog is an oddity, wonder why?

Yeah, the second pic was just as we were leaving the house. He has just realized that he has the capability to climb into the front on his own. I put him in the back seat and he climbed into the front and smiled at me, all proud. He was pretty tuckered out in the last pic!

Get used to it... we cannot enjoy ourselves at festivals because of all the people & kids stopping to pet the dogs. Something about a well behaved large dog is an oddity, wonder why?

What a cutie and it looks like he had such a good time.

Thanks! He had a blast! Anything that involves going in the car and playing in dirt is his idea of a good time! He just loved rolling in the sand and digging his nose in it! I am sure we will be back... the couple of hours of driving were well worth it, he had so much fun!

Thanks! Yes, he is from Black Shadow Cane Corso in New Brunswick. His mom is Black Shadows CH Danae de Italica Terrae. His father is GrCh FireHorse Dorian, from FireHorse Cane Corso in Chester County, PA. He has been an amazing puppy so far! There was a breeder here in NS, but I opted to wait to Black Shadow's litter, as I met a dog from a previous litter and was in love!

Sorry, I meant that I got him from a Canadian Breeder... Black Shadow Cane Corso... Danae is one of their females.

He's pretty damn cute that's for sure. I had Diesel at the beach in May and he wasn't that interested in the water either until he seen other dogs going in after a stick. He then started running in after them. Now he will walk in the water on his own but hasn't tried to swim yet.
