I agree- good on you for taking both, especially considering the circumstances. I am sure they will pay you back ten-fold. :)

They are adorable!

Welcome. Very kind of you to go back for the other pup. My male Corso was 14.5 lbs at 8 weeks and is 33 lbs at 16 weeks. I have learned that these large breed dogs will grow at their own pace. Goodluck with your pups.

Don't be afraid to keep them lean as it is easier on the hips. My boy stayed lean even with 3 feedings a day... he is approaching 7 months and 70lbs now

God Bless you for saving these two adorable babies. I am a new Corso parent myself. I got Sofie just over a month ago. On August 24 she weighed 32 pounds, and today at the vets she weighed in at 55 pounds. You will be busy but the rewards are SO worth it. Congratulations!

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome!!!! They were both paid/rescues lol from a back yard breeder so they are not registered, only the parents parents were.. We had to get them a little under 7 weeks due to the fact that they both were infested with ticks :( between the both of them we have pulled off about 50 ticks . We only planned on taking Toby the silver one however when we pulled off all those ticks we went back and paid for (Cooper) the runt. It was killing me inside!!!! it was making me sick to think the breeder wasn't doing anything about it!!!
Thank you for rescuing the pups; they are lucky to have you. On a serious note this is going to be a lot of work and dedication on your part. Please separate the two when your not around so that they don't bond with each other more than they bond with you which can lead to extra work.
