  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

Is your CC jealous much? :)

Several weeks ago I took on a new Corso girl. Since that time she has become my shadow. .. Yesterday I became aware of her not liking it when I was working on my laptop for several hours.. She paced around the room, stopping by to shove her head into my lap frequently.. Huffing very loudly, her equivalent of a huge sigh I'm sure! She had gone so far as to try and squeeze her 90 pound self onto the space between me & the laptop... Anyone else have this issue?

Yup!
They don't seem to like it if you ate doing anything beside giving love, which in Corso brain should be constant.
The head punch is part of their dominance. I give crap for it.

Indeed. Juno stays between my feet all the time.......ALL THE TIME! Was funny at first and if she didn't do it now I would think she didn't feel well. However, because of it some bad things have happened. I have big feet and she has big feet and both of our feet have been stepped on by each other. I wear flip flops in the house and when those freakin claws hit the toes...... and Cody is right about the head punch. When she forces herself on me while i'm sitting or standing I ignore her. What's funny is getting barked at while I type this reply.

Anytime my dad I are talking and not paying attention to shadow he will go grab something he knows he's not allowed chew and run around the house with it. His second favorite thing to do is if I'm on my floor watching tv he'll sit right in front of me so I cant see anything.

LOL...this post makes me smile! My girl is the same way. She is my shadow for sure....she will follow me into the bathroom, wait for me to get out of the shower, then lay her head on my feet while I blow dry my hair. No privacy with this girl, but I wouldn't have it any other way :)

Trinity will shadow anyone in my house, you better close that bathroom door fast otherwise you'll get an ass full of snout or knees full of paws. She's definitely jealous when the cat gets food or treats even though she just got some. And she'll still squeeze her 135 lb+ body onto the lazy boy with me. Which is adorable albeit crushing.
I don't know if it's jealousy or still a lingering fear from her previous home- maybe hit with a phone? I wouldn't put it passed the guy, but you just cannot talk on the phone around Trinity. She'll get loud, mouthy and snippy. It's worrisome and a hard habit to break. I show it to her, let her smell it, hear it, show there's nothing wrong... she's just still not a fan. Big work in progress.

Ours aren't too bad... they don't crowd but do follow everywhere and then find a spot to chill out of the way but where they can still see what we are doing at all times. Except when it comes to the bed or couch and then they want to be close if not on you :) Hemi is the only one that gets away with the head punch as the others she doesn't allow to do it and even she knows that I am the only one she can do it too as she is too big to do it to the kids and Scott usually has Danae, not that she tends to do it to him anyway.

My American bulldog does this, I literally can't go anywhere in the house without her following me! Our CC puppy, Kuna, really bonded to my husband- he was off work for 2 weeks after we got the puppy from the breeder. So anytime my husband leaves the room Kuna whines and paces and looks for him and is so excited when he comes back. :) We make sure to not look at, touch, or talk to him until he's calmly sitting though. Head punches are definitely ignored. :)
