This is a very interesting thread to learn about breeding standards. I only wish humans put as much thought into breeding, LOL!

Eyes, OFA, sperm eval, hips/elbows, heart, i got a list from my breeder.

A follow-up ... what does your breeder say?

Would he/she use him in any of their breedings? If so, why? If not, why not?

Depending on who the breeder is, their desire (or lack thereof) may tell you all you need to know about whether or not you should try to breed him.

PS --- From the sounds of things, I don't think you'd do this ... but, I'll feel lots better for having said it ... please do not advertise your "stud dog available" on Craigslist or any of the "please buy my $300 puppy" sorts of websites. There's not a faster way to ruin your reputation within the relatively tight-knit community of Mastiff fanciers than to take that route. Again, best wishes in your ongoing education! :)
