How do your filas act around pregnant women?

Because mine have almost no negative actions towards them as i found out last week when we had company. I will set the scene for you, last week we had bf sons and fiance come for a visit from calgary, the two sons in their 30's came first for a few days and then left for a few days and then when they came back they brought his fiance for the last 2 days. Well the dogs would go apeshit on the boys, like rush the door barking and growling a whole lot of commotion but no bites everytime they came or went at night but day time was a little calmer. Or if they left the room or came back in they did this, leave the room in shorts and come back in with pants on bark bark bark. They were tailed the whole time they were here. Im sure if they came in with a chair in one hand and a broom in the other , im sure it would have been a different outcome lol. But my dogs showed i do believe to be the true fila temp and what a fila was like back then, stable strong nerves and controllable. They were always watching them and reacted with reasonable force to let them know they were being watched as they did not act in a threatening manner so minimal force needed. Knowing my dogs they were more guardy then normal and did not back off them until they were called off to do so, with 5 filas it took a few minutes lol and i also noticed the females backed off first but the males were more persistant in keeping them boys at the door.

So im a little worried about the girl coming here, shes pregnant and im worried because now there are 3 people and didnt want any jumping on her but she walked in the yard and we had the dogs in the house, well Victory the little smarty pants jumped up on the screen door and hit the handle and all the dogs went flying out the door, omg i almost fainted lol. But they barked at her and then sniffed her as she was walking up onto the porch and she sat down in the chair and the dogs were acting like she was a long lost buddy, letting her pet them and she had lotion on her arms and the dogs were rubbing their faces all over her. They wouldnt and still dont let the guys pet them, the duck away from their hands lol. I found it quite strange their reactions to her, she could come and go with no barks, the dogs would cuddle with her on the couch, just plain weird. You would think it would be the opposite because the boys would have the same chemical smell as their dad and the girl is no blood relation but just pregnant, but nope they gave the boys hell every move they made, you could tell it was pissing them off but hey all i kept saying is they are filas and i cant change that be thankfull that they havent bit you in the ass lol cause at one point they got the bright idea that if they snuck in the back door it wouldnt be so bad, ummmmmm NO IT WAS WORSE hahahahahaha they were actually making contact by standing up in their faces barking and pushing the boys back with their feet to the chest and they were not happy the rest of the night, which pissed me off cause every little noise that night they went freakin nuts.

So they virtually temp tested my filas for a week and i liked what i saw but was puzzled about the reaction to the pregnant lady, how do your filas act around them?

I don't have signifigant input, heck, for as far as I know I don't think Apollo's even ever been around a pregnant lady. But thats very cool!

All my filas i have had have been less aggressive to women then men but this is the first time any of mine have been around a pregnant woman, so this reaction is new to me. Steve was in love with her, giving her smooches and giving his paw and not as over bearing as he normally is, she was hugging on him and he looked like he was in heaven.

the only pregnant people my dogs have ever been around were people they already knew and then me.

my girls were big mushes to all of us pregnant girls and never left our sides. with my first child,my 2 besties were pregnant also we were all 7 wks apart with me being first. so we would hang out or whatever and the poor Filas didn't know who to be with.

my last pregnancy with my son,Flower would walk beside me step by step, up and down the stairs. she would walk so close to me we would be touching. when in bed, she would sit with her head resting on the bed about 3 inches from my face.she would constantly sniff my growing belly and the first time he kicked her, she almost passed out!!it was hilarious, but she came right back and licked my belly and she is soooo not a licker. she was the cutest thing!

That is VERY Cool! To me it makes sense. I mean what is frightening and intimidating about a pregnant lady who is throwing hormones around right left and centre (okay well to a dog I would really hate to be a human male). LOL anyways what I am trying to say is that a dog knows and it is natural to them really.
