Hi,

Just joined and thought I would say hello.

I lost my Cane Corso a while ago at 11-1/2 years. He was the second Corso I have had - adore this breed! (Although I must say I do have a very soft spot for molossars in general.) I did a lot of training with my dog and titled him in various activities, and I used him to demonstrate when teaching dog training classes ... So there's a very big hole in my life.

Not meaning to be depressing - we all know that none of them live long enough. Being in mastiff withdrawal at the moment, I thought I could at least enjoy hearing about other owners' experiences!

Looking forward to reading the various posts,

Brenda

Hi Brenda!

If you are suffering from mastiff withdrawal, you are welcome to visit us in Langley. Ajax is 1.5 male corso. We are currently doing rally and sure could use some advise on focused heeling. I am all for talking dog!

Welcome!!

I would love to see some photos & video, if you have it, of your pup.
SO hard to lose them... but WOW 11.5 years is GREAT! I bet you have some awesome memories.

I find looking through old photos and watching old video cathartic when missing an old love....

I'm not too far away from you, either... down here in the Seattle area.

Welcome
Time to start looking for a new pup and put your grief to rest.
I have found the best way to get over losing a dog is to get a new pup.
Your loving departed CC wouldn't want you sad and depressed.
