Harness - who, what and why?

We are looking to buy an "adult" harness for Angus. When he was younger/smaller we liked the mesh vest type that had a buckle on the back but haven't been able to find those in a big guy size.

What type harness do you use on your mastiff? Where did you buy it? and Why do you like it?

Thanks for sharing your experience!

My favorite harness is from Workshop Sauri. It is very nice leather, lined on the inside, and fully adjustable. It has a handle that makes it really easy to hang on to while waiting to release the dog for lure coursing or to spot the dog while doing dog parkour, which is what I typically use it for. As it's completely adjustable, I can use it for both dogs, although when Lillie's completely done growing, I'll get her one of her own.

This is the one I got:
Standard working dog harness - Harakhan Kennel

I see they now have a harness specifically for giant breeds, as well.

I love the freedom harness. It comes in all sizes and is on Amazon Prime. It has a clasp on front and on back. I like using the front clasp and Sean prefers the back. You can also use both at the same time if you buy it as a set with the leash. The under arm part is lined in velvet.

We use a harness we got thru out trainer that has a front clasp. I feel like I have more control with Oscar if he decides to go rogue. He walks really well on a leash but I can control him with one hand a harness whereas if I were using the leash hooked to his collar not so much
