Harlequin Breedings

Dakota kids beautiful pictures and pups. Yes the pup would be labled as "fawnequin" Meaning one of the parents was carrying a "hidden" Harlequin gene.

I can say i have never seen or even heard of the fawn merle, the pic of the three nursing, kind of interesting color, looks kind of cheetah looking with the spots on the head

The Great Dane is an interesting breed, you can have an UNIMAGINABLE amount of color and pattern combinations. Its nothing really new and has been done since the breed was first introduced. IMO the "elite" trying to standardize colors is really damaging to the breed pool. As long as the breed is "correct" color be damned so long as their are no genetic decencies.

Just a few of many color/pattern combos:

"Merlequin" Merle patches instead of black

**Note: this is DANGEROUS you can guarantee a certain percentage of the litter will be dead at birth. Others will suffer from horrendous genetic disorders. Not sure if you can see but notice the eye on the bitch.

This dog is a Merle with a rich fawn coat

*Note in order to be considered Chocolate the nose must be of chocolate. This dog has a black nose.

Hard to tell but its either "Chocolate Merle" or a Merle mutation coloring like the previous dog.

Thank you! I am sure Ruger would be more than willing to lead little Magnum but I am afraid of where he might take him. LOL
I'd say little Magnum could not find a better home to go to than yours, Kris!

You're well-informed and ready, willing and able to deal with any issues that arise. Couldn't ask for more.
As said above - he's here already, and needs a home, and "you can't help who you fall in love with." (love that line!)

I'd bet Ruger would be willing to act as seeing-eye-dog (or ear-dog), if needed, too. :)

Can't wait to see more pics!
