my 1st car was a 67 GTO,it was Montego cream sport coupe,3 speed!!! I loved that car,it was my mom's and she gave it to me for my 16th b-day. I was the envy of all the cool kids once I smoked my tires in the school parking lot, lol!!mind you this was 1987 and I used to love to tear it up on our local drag strip! my brother and I were taught to drive by our dad who bought his first goat in 1965!it was a 64 convertible. he always would tell us, if were going to drive a classic we better know how the hell to drive!!LOL! he grew up in the late 60's and early 70's racing for pinks.so, needless to say I grew up with LOTS of cool cars!

he also got me an original 1970 Charger for my 20th birthday, that got stolen and totaled on my 21st birthday while parked outside a club.

all Pontiac what's the et

Best is 10.58 1/4 with a 1.37 60'
I put a fixed throttle stop on to keep it at
about 6.80's in the eighth and around 11.00 1/4
Keeps me passing tech where I race without having to
replace things like bell housing just to
keep the NHRA rich.

I remember when getting into the tens was a big deal.
Now it only puts me in the middle of the field most races.
At Times I kind of miss having it street legal.
It started out as that, but I got bit by the
race bug and before I knew it we got to
the point where I couldn't pass DMV inspection.
Of course at 1 mpg on Methanol we couldn't go far. LOL
