Gorgeous George

Hi, here is a pic of our lovely boy BB now ten weeks and 14.7 kg.
The breeder told us he will be big and we are feeding him BARF and being careful not to let him get fat. He is doing well with house training, sitting on command and is a
wonderful little chap. Would be interested to here from other BB owners and general tips on puppy training that are especially relevant with the breed. The breeder has been
very helpful and is always on hand but any extra info is a bonus. Love this site as the advice on Mastiffs breeds in general has been highly informative.

Thanks everyone,
He is indeed Gorgeous, and always ready to "help", and certainly likes to be where ever the action is. He does not stop till he drops so to speak.
It is great to see the pictures of everyones beautiful dogs on here. George is my first mastiff type dog and I have learnt a lot from this site and like the way the training methods advocated here to be both affective and humane.
One Boerboel only forum site that I looked at had very old school, what seemed to my heavy handed approaches to training.

WOW, What a beast! I can see some of the big lines in him. What a treat to have a new baby BB. Is he a Sandaharr or Atraxia? Looks like Dopper and maybe Mizpah lines. What kennel does he come from?

He is bred by Jenny Wells (Quo Vadis Boerboels), who moved from South Africa to Gloss in the UK last year, bringing her dogs with her, although she is originally from the UK. All her dogs are athletic and healthy and beautiful. She is a great breeder and does export. George is presently asleep in front of the cabinet with the pedigree in it so I will have to have a look to see as I can not remember the names.

He does have a beautiful face and lovely expressive intelligent eyes. There is Scandinavian on his dad's side. Will get the pedigree out now he is awake and look.
Went to see Jenny Wells last year and fell in love with her dogs, could not stop talking about them, must have bored everyone silly.

Hi All Gorgeous George is coming along well. He is 16 weeks tomorrow and just over 4 stone. Every time I look at him he has grown it is quite exciting watching his rapid development. He has a very loving and quite comical, fun personality and we just love him to bits. I regularly scour this site as I find it a mine of useful and interesting information and love to see other peoples pictures of their wonderful dogs.
Here are a few more of George so you can see his progress.
