Getting to Know You

I feel for you, but most of the Russian girls I know are so hot I could just look at the jokster and think to myself "and what do you have that makes you happy?" I was going type a quip but I just can't it's not in my nature to pick on someone because of nationality or appearance.

Quip away! Bald, Polish, Russian wife. Bring it!

Like I said Mike, I've never even considered that term to be derogatory. Really didn't even know anyone did until this morning. Most of the red headed friends I've had never seemed to have any issues caused by the color of their hair so I never felt like red heads in general felt discriminated against. I'm surprised I don't get more negative feedback from blondes when I call them ditzy.

Also, if it's that derogatory of a term, why put it in your random facts? I doubt a black person would post a random fact stating, I hate it when people use the n word.

the whole "gingers dont have souls" thing really just started as an internet joke (meme) and it spread. Don't take it so seriously. No one I know takes the joke seriously nor does anyone actually hate people with red hair. Hell, the gingers I know are the ones I always hear making the jokes!

its like getting upset that cats want a cheeseburger....

Random fact about yourself: I will talk to myself regardless of where I am, no shame.

I read through these posts and saw the posts about vibrams. My husband owns a pair and loves them for 2 years he has been trying to convert me. I still have resisted. Though in one moment of weakness he managed to talk me into trying them on.

First name/preferred name: Suanne
Occupation: Sculptor
Age: Older than a lot of people here
About your dog: Dogue de Bordeaux, age 21 months, male. I love his self-confidence and extroverted love of life--he has helped me to be more like that, and less solitary (you cannot walk around New York City with a DDB and not get attention... a LOT of attention, lol.) Yet, he's as sweet as pie, and very attuned to my moods--a very sensitive guy. :)
Interests: Bikram Yoga (the hot yoga: 105 degrees, usually), I have been practicing for 12 years. Sculpting is what I love to do, and am grateful to make a living at it (though not easy!). Travel- I've been fortunate to have been able to travel to 14 different countries (including overseas education.) And dogs- anything dog-related!
Favorite music: A lot of everything...except country music.
Favorite Book: Anything by Milan Kundera...also, Life of Pi, by Yana Martel. Oh, also Somerset Maugham.
Favorite quote:
"Whatever you ardently desire,
Sincerely believe in,
Vividly imagine, and
Enthusiastically act upon,
Must inevitably come to pass."
- Sybil Leek
What's on t.v.: Nat Geo; What Not To Wear; The Incredible Dr. Pol (I love this guy, lol.)
Random Fact About Yourself: I don't eat sugar, and crave bitter foods and weird sea vegetables.
Another Random Fact: Hearing the sound of pencil erasures on newsprint makes my skin crawl.

Attached is a photo taken a few years ago of me in a Bikram pose---
