Lemurs??? What kind? How did you get into them? What are they like as pets? I'm always intrigued by exotic pets but have never come across any I'd actually like to own once I learn about them/learn about keeping them lol. I'm usually left wondering why people do keep them after I research them lol.

Spiderman is a brown lemur; Harley is a ring tail. Harley's brother, Davison, died when he was very young.
Spiderman's owner wasn't taking care of him & his parents, so we took Spiderman & another friend took the parents. That same friend then became overwhelmed with 4 lemurs, so when Harley & Davison were old enough we took them too, as playmates for Spiderman. Like monkeys, they don't make very good pets. While Spiderman was raised by humans, & we can pet him when he's in the mood, but he is still a wild animal & can't be trusted. His teeth are very sharp. Lemurs are a slash & run kind of animal, & it just takes seconds to get hurt. My housemate & her son are the only people allowed in their habitat. Harley was older when we got her, & she's very timid. I can touch her leg or belly while I hold a piece of candy for her, but can't pet her any other time. They're messy, and kind of expensive to feed. They eat A LOT of produce, mostly sweet fruit. Harley likes big fat grasshoppers too (yuch), and will eat a little bit of cooked chicken occasionally. I still enjoy sitting on the deck and watching them. They're best friends, and they can be pretty comical. Harley looks like a buddha who is always stoned. Spiderman is much more active, and always grunts & "talks" to us. I have a few pics in an album in my profile.
BTW Travis is MUCH more fun.....

I HATE... dishonesty!!!!!, disrespectfulness, poop(anyones kids or pets), bills, heat (not crazy about summer)

Favorite past time: apparently it is taxing my kids around since I do it all day LOL!!!

Do you have any non K9 pets? Not currently but i've had one colorful animal past. For years I was really into exotic animals. I've owned large constrictors (burmese, reticulated, scrub pythons, green anaconda, various boas, large monitors, very exotic tarantulas. In my peak i had 8 snakes, 17 tarantulas, 3 scorpions, 2 giant centipedes, 3 giant millipedes, probly some other things i'm forgetting. I got out a couple years ago, might get back in one day but right now it's just not in the cards. If anyone would like to see pics feel free to ask, i have a billion.


What languages do you speak? English, bad English, a moderate amount of Spanish and even some Farsi (my stepdad is Iranian)


Chore you hate the most? Only just one??? All things cleaning, especially laundry and dishes.
