Oh wow. Yes he looks just like a CC..how funny! I hate to hear that about the breeding but boy..you sure lucked out with Hector. Hes so beautiful and very well behavedSent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I527 using Tapatalk
Thank you for the compliment, but it's definitely not luck. He sure is handsome, but has health problems and so many behavioral problems because of his weak nerves that we considered euthanasia many times before 2 years old, but that's another story. Looking back, I am glad he is with us because he is such an awesome teacher and are a part of this forum because of him. There has been nothing easy about him. I see a lot of similarities in Drago and the young Hector.

Oh honey... so sorry to hear that. From the video of him today i would of never once thought behavioral problems. His temperment seems amazing. Drago is still quite the handful for us. Hes doing better but definately no where near obedient. He still shows agression/ fear around dogs and people altho hes improving. Its a stuggle for us as this is a new breed for us with very different temperment then we are accustomed to. We have been very patient, yet cautious in how we procede around any people or animals. Its definately been a rewarding yet extremely difficult journey for us.

Thanks DragosMom. I guess when you have a gimpy dog, you're really restricted on what you can do exercise wise. We just have to continue to stick with being creative. His ears feel like velvet. It's my favorite part to touch.
I'm a big fan of the floppy velvet ears too! They're also my favorite part. I feel like the neo owners who crop are really missing out on these things!

I feel your pain. It is a long, long process especially if you are just learning. Learning about the dog, learning about yourselves as handlers and owners, learning about the application of methods and then making it work so that everyone is happy. You are on the right path.
