Fila Brasileiro- In depth look

I found this great article about the breed its a must read for people interested in the breed or for any dog lover. For people that already own one its still as refreshing; I know I enjoyed it.

Let m know your thoughts on it!. If you own a fila let me know which category does he fit in ie. extrovert, introvert etc.

My thoughts are that I totally agree with the article. I haven't found one thing that I disagree with. Trigger would fit in the second category. He is definitely not an introvert. He is fine with people talking to me as long as they are 15 feet away or so and they don't use hand gestures or talk loudly. One thing I've noticed that nobody talks about which the article addresses is that fila are extremely Adaptable. Trigger had a bad habbit of lunging at passerby's just out of spite. Instead of avoiding crowd I took it head on since he was still manageable at 6 months and corrected and exaggerated my dislike of it. Thanks to all that hard work now I can walk by people with the condition that they don't make eye contact or show interest. Point is filas are intelligent and adaptable they are not maneaters as some people would like you
To believe. They are extremely sensitive and are defensive driven. Lol they just get offended really easily.

i had a feeling she was the second, seen a couple of your vids on your youtube channel. I think it also has a lot to do with experience, since she is old she has a lot of experience under her belt and can judge better.

I would say Kona was a 2 now a 1. Though not always a trust worthy 2 ahahaha

Theres one out that breaks the fila down into 4 groups. I think that one covers the fila really well
