We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.
We live on acreage and have an abundance of rabbits who live to chew on our vegetation. We were thinking it might be beneficial to start introducing raw rabbit meat into our boys diet.
For wild meat you may want to make sure its been frozen solid for a week before feeding, just to kill parasites, but I do know of folks who feed it directly. Either way go for it!
We feed quite a bit of rabbit! Easy whole food (natures perfect 80-10-10), easy and cheap to produce as well. I agree with Ruth wild rabbit I would freeze esp. if you have tularemia in your area. If you feed a lot of it with little else you may want to add in EFA's as rabbit meat is low in them.
