Dogo ?? size

Hello Everyone,

This is Dman writing all the way from Athens, Greece
I found the little fellow in the pics, abandoned in a really dangerous place. I had to remove him from there and we went straight to the vet. he has some health issues but all are possible to cure, so he will be 100% healthy in about 4-5 weeks.
He s staying with us at home together with my 2 other dogs.
Currently he is 6 months old and weighs about 22 kilograms ~ 49 pounds, but he is clearly underweight with visible bones and for sure has not been fed properly for a long time.

I would like you opinion based on his size and the pics, if he is a Dogo ?
I really do not mind if he is or not, since he will be staying with us anyway but I would like to figure his adult size because I would have to make some changes around the house. Should I assume that he will become a 45+ kilogram fellow ?

Many thanks for the help

Dman

Thank you for rescuing the pup and giving him the care, love and attention that he needs. :)

I'm not sure he's a full bred Dogo. I love the brown spot on his forehead.

Be more concerned with body condition than weight. Since his history is unknown, it will be guesstimate on how much he will weigh as an adult.

It doesn't look so bad in the pictures. It may be on the thin side, but it still has a way to grow and mature. As he matures, he will become fuller.
Most important is to train and exercise it. An untrained Dogo, or a bored one can be dangerous.

Very nice of you to rescue him but it appears he is not a Dogo or at least not pure Dogo and if he has some Dogo in him yes for sure he would reach 45+kg

Guys, thanks very much for the help
The puppy is already starting to feel at home and getting along very well with the other dogs. He still has some skin problems and 1/100 ehrilichia, but the vet says not to worry.
We managed to speak to the guy who first saw him in July and tried to protect him and at least feed him something. The dog should be maximum 6 months old.
Our couch is now restricted dog only area - i ll try to get a picture of the 3 dogs sitting on each other on the couch

Many thanks once again

By look I would say more likely Kangal mix, rather than Dogo mix. Something in the head an shape says Kangal to me
