dog trainers in San Diego???

Hi everyone,
I have already taken Stella to basic puppy classes, but I would like to take her to more advanced training. I have looked into a few places that offer training but I was just wondering if there is anybody from San Diego that has recommendations for trainers.

I also want to know if there is anything in particular that I should look for when picking a trainer for my 6 month old CC.

I do not know dog trainers in San Diego but recommend doing a research on google and yelp for giant breed trainers who have experience with CC's. When I researched for Titan's trainer, I talked with him on the phone and met with him without Titan, to get a feeling for the guy. He taught me a lot about training and he really helped us.

Good luck on your search! Do you have local breeders in the area, if so, contact them for trainers.

I never thought to contact the local breeders! that is a great idea.

I was so bummed because when i got Stella we had the perfect trainer picked out. He had his own CC that he had trained to be a service dog and he had trianed multiple CC's before. But sadly, he moved right after we got her. I have yet to find anybody that specializes in giant breeds. San Diego is a large city, so I am sure they are out there, its just going to take some time to find them I guess.

thanks you for the advice though, I already have a few breeders in mind that I can call :)

What kind of training are you looking for?
Protection
Obedience
Agility
Etc???
I know many trainers around the country bc of all I do with my Presas and the fact I am a trainer myself.
Who have you contacted?

Asking breeders is not gonna do you any good if they do not work there own dogs..
If you do ask don't just stay in your own breed ..

Hi,
sorry it took me so long to respond, I was on vacation.

anyways, I am looking for obedience training.

I have only contacted a few places. I used Karma dog training for puppy school.
