Dog kibble and soft poops what do you think?

Hi all,
I'm wanting to know your thoughts about what I have been
Noticing with Angelina. I changed from Nutro Max to Blue buffalo
Thinking it was better for her. She finished eating the first big bag
So I went to buy another (about 1.5 month eating BB) I then began to
Notice her poop is either watery or really soft. The food has chicken
In it and I've read on some posts that CC sometimes do not digest
Chicken well although the Nutro Max was also chicken flavored.
What are your thoughts about this? I'm wandering if I need to
Change her food.

I found that Blue was too rich for Jiggers and caused very soft stool for him. With Kryten is found the longer he was on a poultry based food the softer his stool got. If you had been feeding a chicken based food for a while without any problems chances are that Blue might be too rich for yours as well.

Check out dogfoodadvisor.com for the food ratings. Try a grain/chicken free kibble. Are you doing a slow transition from one food to another? A fast transition will cause diarrhea.

I did slowly transition her to the new food and what's interesting is
She was fine with the first 30lb bag. I read on another post
That adding pumpkin can aid with Harding poop so I am going to
Give that a try with the rest of this second bag. If that doesn't
Work I will change to another brand. I appreciate all your feedback.

Thanks for this thread as I was going to switch to BB due to ours having soft stools. I still have 3/4 of the pedigree large breed ours has been eating so I look forward to hearing more before I switch to BB (due to a local store trying to push it on me) or another food.

Just giving an update on Angelina. I learned that the puppy food is too high in protein for her at the age she is so I began feeding her the fish/sweet potato adult food from BB and she is doing great. Her poops have hardened up.
