Do your Filas retrieve unusual things?

We have two goats...weedeaters.

Anyway, about 2 months ago the baby goat, a mini, got out. Screaming like a distressed rabbit...the male Fila had her by the neck and was carrying her towards the house. I thought she was a goner...nope, he held her down until my wife took him away. The goat didn't move much for about 45 minutes. Not a drop of her blood was spilled.

From that point on, the baby goat would stay in the middle of the pen. Until last night...she got out again and again, the male picked her up by the neck, only this time he held her down.


I bet she doesn't get out for a long time.

How cool! They can be so gentle, yet so firm.

When Cane was young every time I took my shower, he would come in, steal either my panties or nightshirt. Take it to the living room placing it in the middle of the room, laying on it, where he could see the front door, the back door and the bathroom. If we left a dish towel on the counter where he could reach it, he would take it to the same spot and leave it.

He rarely does it now. I think it is because Ziva is now in the living room watching both doors, so he lays beside the tub. I sure LOVE my Fila's.

My dogs have brought me strange things over my life. Frogs, chickens, children, a back door whlst out at sea id say was the most impressive???

And a baby duck plopped in my hand has to be the cutest. That duck is still with us.
